    The 33rd annual Ithaca Dance Gathering will take place Thursday, June 18 - Sunday, June 21, 2026 at beautiful Sky Lake Camp & Retreat Center in Windsor, New York. Registration opens in mid-April 2026. We look forward to reconnecting with everyone!

  • About Our Dances

    We sing, dance & pray together for peace within ourselves & the world.

    The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, multi-cultural, interfaith circle

    and partner dances that use sacred phrases, chants, music, and movements to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and recognize it in others. A transformative spiritual practice, the Dances are rooted in the celebration of all the world’s wisdom traditions to inspire harmony and peace. All are welcomed into the circle to hold hands in an embodied prayer of Unity.

    The Ithaca Dances of Universal Peace circle has been dancing monthly for more than 45 years! For the past three decades, we have been dancing on the first Saturday night of every month (we take summers off to focus on our annual retreat and camp). Currently, we rotate between the Foundation of Light on East Hill and the First Unitarian Society in downtown Ithaca. Please see the 2026 schedule below.
